i aspire to be a "regular," where ever i may go. cause it's great being known at your favorite spots. it's a consumer society, so you might as well be VIP. but maybe i'm just too predictable? i don't know. here's a list of my favorite spots as a "regular:"
- mai tai bar - ala moana (beautiful servers)
- starbucks - airport (afternoon coffee breaks)
- young's kalbi - aiea (best kalbi/meat jun)
- lucky jeans - ala moana (great jeans)
- godiva chocolates - ala moana (always a great gift)
- armani exchange - ala moana (mmmm...ex-intern)
- coffeetalk - waialai (coffee girl we miss you)
- hale vietnam - waialai (best pho in honolulu)
- kenneth cole outlet - waikele (great shoes)
- tiffany's - ala moana (always a great gift)
- 24hr fitness - waikiki (friendly trainers)
- lagoons - airport (great cheap chinese)
- and more (but i can't think of them, now)
- starbucks - ward (after all these years)
- borders books - ward (always there)
- abercrombie - ala moana (they raised prices again!)
- 24hr fitness - mililani (i need a new body fat test)
- ocean's club - downtown (get pass those long lines)
- brewmoon - ward (late night drinks)
- honolulu academy of arts - downtown (need more culture)
- honolulu international film festival (i'm going to volunteer!)
- bubbies ice cream - university (mochi ice cream)
- roy's restaurant - (i might as well dream big!)
- and more (cause desire is endless)

I wish we have those places over here so I can be a regular at them. I love Starbuck but we don't have them. When I'm in San Francisco, I'm a regular at AE, or any malls over there, actually, and I OD on Starbucks.
Ok, so over here I'm a regular at Media Markt (Electronics place), and a couple of English bookshops (tiny compared to the ones in the US).
I'm also a regular here! :)
